Taipei, 17 July 2025 — Albert Liu, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Sino Suisse Capital, was profiled in the cover story of Business Weekly (商業周刊), Issue 1966, as part of its series on Taiwan’s Asian Asset Management Center and the Kaohsiung special zone.
The feature examines the opening of Taiwan to external asset managers (EAMs) under the Financial Supervisory Commission’s Asian Asset Management Center initiative — making Taiwan the third market in Asia, after Hong Kong and Singapore, to introduce the EAM model — and highlights Sino Suisse, a Singapore-based EAM founded by a Taiwanese team, as one of the first EAMs to establish a presence in Taiwan.
The article describes the EAM as an open-architecture “platform”: working from each client’s objectives and risk tolerance, the EAM invites proposals from multiple financial institutions, screens them with suitability in mind, and coordinates implementation with the client’s chosen custodian bank.

After twenty-six years abroad, I felt that at this stage of life I should come home and serve the people of Taiwan.
Albert Liu, Founder and CEO, Sino Suisse Capital
The profile also traces Albert’s career, from American Express and Citibank to UBS, which he joined in 1999 and where he served as Managing Director in Singapore, overseeing the Greater China ultra-high-net-worth business.
